    Sue

Sue was looking for traditional style blocks, with which to make a patchwork sampler. Her colour preferences was based around what she thought of as "Japanese winter" colours, meaning palest pinks and mauves, winter blues, white on white, white on dark green, grey, muted gold, etc.

At the start of the swap, Sue told everyone she was planning to open a bed and breakfast hotel with a theme for each room. This quilt, she planned to use for her Japanese themed room. Sue has since opened her bed and breakfast, Apple Tree House in Glastonbury, and the quilt adorns the bed in one of the rooms.
